Paris-based Mistral released Large 3 this morning, alongside a new "Souverain" commercial license tailored for EU public sector and regulated industries.
The model is competitive with mid-tier offerings from OpenAI and Anthropic on French, German and Italian benchmarks, and notably cheaper at $2 / $6 per million tokens.
